What a week...
We started school and I could spend a lot of your time with me telling you some painful details...but I will not be doing that tonight. I can't. Let me just say, this is my 7th time starting a school year and each time I do it there is some growing pains involved..especially for mama. Coffee in the morning is heated up 3 to 4 times before it is actually finished. Kids say, "Excuse me, mama..I need help" a few more times than they should. You know, the typical needing to be in many places at one time.
From the moment I am out of bed, until about now (9:00)ish, I am moving and grovin'. Don't get me wrong... I like to be busy. I like the fullness of it all. It just takes a little adjusting. And I always have to relearn that sometimes less is more when it comes to running so many grades and ages.
But I did it..another year begun...underway and moving forward.
Welcome to the new school year! We started back this week as well. I haven't gotten to comment lately because mostly I've kept up on my phone with my blogs this summer. It's hard to comment from a phone! Like you, I stepped back from blogging this summer a little to focus on what needed to be accomplished. I didn't get it all finished, but I made a lot of progress. I enjoy blogging though,and have really missed it. I'm back...maybe not too often...but I have a lot of ideas to talk about. I hope your first weeks go smoothly. I love opening up blogger and seeing your updates! I just can't believe how your family is growing up. Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday that I found your blog but it's been a year!
