I got my camera 3 years ago. The day Molly turned 7. We had just had a storage fire. I had just found Pioneer Woman and read about the D-90. I walked into a camera store and said I want a Nikon D-90. I had no idea what that meant, how much that meant, and what I would do with this camera I decided I needed.
We got some insurance money and I soothed some sadness with my impulsive camera purchase. I think the whole purchase ran me $2000. I bought the base, a pretty fancy lens, lens filters, extra batteries, fancy SIM card, camera bag and whatever else the camera guy told me I needed. I went home, popped the camera on Manual and I have never looked back.
The joy this camera brings is very real. I LOVE taking pictures with it. I love looking at memories through the lenses I have bought. My days are filled with so many special moments that I could never record them all..but I do try my best capturing what I can.
This blog, this camera has meant so much to me. I have become such a different person since the day I bought this camera. I thank you all, whoever reads and looks at these pictures. I love taking them and I love that some people peek inside this little house that grew...it means so much....
Happy Birthday D-90....
ah your family is as beautiful as your photos of them. i love my cameras too.
